Butterflies, Announcements and Reminders

Image
Butterflies, Announcements and Reminders     This Sunday is normal and all the H2O Kids meet upstairs in Adventure Bay. We will talk about our baby caterpillars that we will release for Easter. Each child and youth at LRUMC will have a caterpillar to watch over.        Also, February 14th is Ash Wednesday. We have 2 services (12 pm and 7 pm). For any children who attend, I will have Lent Devotional bags to give out.           The ones who do not attend will get them on Communion Sunday which  is the first Sunday of Lent, February 18th. This is when we meet and worship with the adults in the Life Center at 9:45. We leave before the sermon for our lesson and come back in time to have communion with our families.  I can't wait to see everyone!! Love, Mrs. Megan

I am so excited about the start of this blog which I hope will be an easy way to communicate and share information about Family and Children's ministry at Little River United Methodist Church. Right now, during our 9:30 service time, we are studying the life of Jesus and the country of Kenya. I am excited in the way that our Deep Blue curriculum connects the lesson to our world today. These are some quick facts about life in Kenya. Look for more posts an event information to come!! Love,  Megan Ward  Kid's Ministry Director Sunday Morning Info
